[Filler/Aside] Firework by Katy Perry.

Prologue: Back to back filler post! Pardon my neglect towards this poor blog of mine. Lack of internet due to always being the last person to use the internet at home and sometimes when finally it's my turn, the connection decided to suck by reducing its speed to GLACIAL and when there's a stable connection, I am somewhere outside (like what I am doing now over Chica.Go 7 at 3rd mile) exposed to external elements such as crowd as well as last but not least, I am lacking in motivation to write a proper post. Or maybe it all boils down to motivation and idea anyway. So here's yet another instant blogpost about a good song that I listened to recently. Sue me.

Katy Perry's latest hit single, Firework featured yet again a memorable beat, Katy Perry's strong vocal as well as inspirational lyrics that ask all of us to "ignite the light" inside of each of our hearts and let ourselves shine like "4th of July". To top it off, the music video (which was shot over Budapest, Hungary featuring spectacular night scene over Danube!) for the song do feature various ordinary people (who faces issues such as domestic violence, self-esteem etc) bursting firework from their heart/chest symbolizing their efforts overcoming obstacles in life. Some people over the video comment page criticized that the lyric comes across as being cheesy and some people do take a pot shot with the chest-bursting firework scene by equating it as Spontaneous Human Combustion. Regardless of those comments, I think that this song is the feel good song that everyone needs these days especially things doesn't not look rosy, a motivation boost if you will. Epilogue: Stay at home reading progress: Way HARDER than I thought and consistently failing whenever I try. (Still) trying hard to form the mental picture of how my proposal and subsequent theses going to be. I think I have the theory that I want to use for my research already. Next: print a couple of books out for my own reference. Tomorrow. And also cutting my hair beside doing all the other houseworks and hanging out with Kuchingites Gang and such. Let's hope by the end of my short stint back in Kuching, I will have something ready for my proposal. Hope everything goes well. Hoping is the least that I can do. The other thing that is effort? Need more. In some way. Just not sure which way. What am I saying anyway? I am loosing my mind over my proposal! GAH!
