Personal recommendation 自分のベストお勧め is アクエリア舞う空 (Skies of Aquaria. Lit. The Sky Where Aquaria Flies), composed by the ever talented Yoko Kanno and performed by Little Singers of Tokyo (LSOT). This song appears quite a few times in the anime itself firstly as the background music of the movie Skies of Aquaria played in the cinema where Amata work in episode one, seemingly performed by Alicia. Skies of Aquaria also appeared prominently in Altair, the world cursed of eventual death because the extinction of female population as Alicia is also regarded as the true Eve over there. I shouldn't spoil the story too much for those who have no previous knowledge of this series but the song didn't fail to bring tears or lump in my throat every time l listen to it. The heart tugging accompanying music and the hauntingly beautiful yet anguished chorus. I have the feeling that this song is performed by a boy (Not that I don't know a boy's voice can be beautiful too) but never mind about that. I wonder if there's any full lyric for this but here you go, Skies of Aquaria, アクエリア舞う空. (Btw the still featuring a lady that looks like floating away? That's Alicia, the "Eve".)

We fans will never let each other day! Why this belated update? Because I just watch the penultimate episodes (25th) as well as 24th of Aquarion Evol and boy, how heart tugging it was.
