For the millions of single people out there however, the day when couple gone out and spent good time with each other and everywhere is red and pink, can be considered as a rude slap to the back of the head, a reminder of the current relationship status and social popularity aptly described as
Single Awareness Day.

| Foreveralone.jpg. So how many of you singles out there are feeling blue right now? |
Despite our awkward (socially and romantically speaking) relationship status, there's nothing to be fret about being single! In fact, singledom has multiple benefits that are not available in romantic relationship and/or marriage. The most profound benefit of singledom can be seen in terms of personal financial management as we can ignore the over-commercialized trap that befell on hapless lovers out there (Ohh you won't believe how much money that gift shops, florists, restaurateurs, jewelers, hoteliers and Durex milk for millions of lovers out there. Wait, did I say Durex?) besides avoiding the awkward moment when your lover come across as dissatisfied and unfulfilled when you present your fruitless attempt in pleasing them. Why not save all these moneys and avoid all these hassles and spent on ourselves? Spend quality time with your family, have fun with your fellow friends or if being social is not exactly your type of activity, spend some elegant alone time with yourself, reading books that you didn't manage to read while listening to soothing music. Do something fulfilling to yourself and make yourself feel wonderful even when you're single! Remember, we are
not alone out there!
For myself and all other single postgrad out there, a shout out!

Anyway, regardless of your current relationship status or engagement or religious body that's keen on releasing statement about the "danger" of V-Day (Yeah, I am talking about the Valentine's Day
furore that happened every single year in Malaysia due to some fatwa reminding all Muslims to avoid celebrating V-day because it's haram to do so. One particular anecdote: a motivational speaker addressing her Muslimahs audience about the danger of V-day by talking about V-day being Christian celebration of ber-couple-couple which again attract MORE furore and global laughing stock. Someone didn't get her
facts straight and lazy to do a search on
Wiki. But who cares about them anyway? And even though JAKIM and PAS being moral police and all going to patrol all public places hunting down Muslim who bercouple-couple, there's no way they can stop lovers from getting some lovin' and
kongkek in the privacy of their own room! Bunch of pricks. The only danger I see from V-day is financial danger due to how over-commercialized V-day has evolved into making romance materialistic.), Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
XOXO
Signed
Forever Alone.
Epilogue: Oh right, tomorrow's a public holiday: Mawlid. Good reason for Muslim to not celebrate V-day too but for me though, will I be able to work out something tomorrow for my proposal? It's just a mock survey form, right? Motivation, where art thou? And stay tune for more post as I wrapped up my Chinese New Year!
