After much delay, here comes my first CNY post. Most of the photo featured was taken during the night of CNY eve... CNY eve has to be the best of the all the day in CNY, with sumptuous reunion dinner done by my dad(our family master chef) and fireworks goin crazy when the clock strikes midnight signifying a whole new year. Now, I shall let the picture do the talking for me. More pic spam ahead!!!

The full galore of a 8 course reunion dinner done by my dad. From the leftmost dish, clockwise: leek, mix vegies, ducks, steamed fish, mushrooms and brocolli, pork stem and in the middle, herbal chicken. The own in bowl is thick corn soup. Actually there are more planned dishes (prawn to be precise) according to my dad but since its already like too much, so he save it for future dishes.

What's left of the 8 course meal (and there are plenty of left over which last well into the 2nd day of CNY)
Another key feature of a typical CNY eve is definitely fireworks when the clock strike 12. It seems like Kuching's sky light up in colorful, vibrant fireworks performance which rivals even the New Years and Merdeka Day. Looks like most of the Kuchingite household are committing crime(its a crime by law by police is being good for not bursting our festive bubbles) by having *private arsenal* and blowing their own money up. (how many million bucks gone for that night anyway..not that I mind lolx) And usually when everything settle down, the whole area will be crowded in the mist of sulfur... Unfortunately though, there have been a slight decrease of the heat of celebration compared to last year(in fact, it is disturbing phenomenon every year) so I really hope that It won't be gone even though definitely not soon. Ahh lets have a look of the firework around my neighbourhood!!!! (The shakiness of my hand combined with quick explosion of fireworks resulted in somewhat artistic photo lolx.)

Ahh the brightness!!!

Two different firework rise to the sky together...

This one has to be the most artistic of all, looks like there are a lots of number 7!!!!

*Flash of explosion* *Ahh the sulfur cloud*

Flying spaghetti...or worse, *
sperm* ROFLMAO.

More flying spaghetti...

Decent looking one...

Finally some better looking one!

Aiks? What kind of explosion is this?
After enjoying the pyrotechnic performance outside, its time to receive our blessing(in the form of angpau) from my beloved parent!!!!

Dad and mom, ready to give their blessing to their children...

...my elder brother...

Yours truly, me...

Younger brother. (the one that gave me the finger lolx)

And last but not least, the youngest one. Blurriness due to nodding head and saying lots of Gong Xi Fa Cai.
Now with all the hype of CNY eve over, now we have only one more thing to do: waiting the guest to come visit and gone out to visit friends and relative. Before that of course, everything in the house must be ready for the visitors!!!

The TV and trophy cabinet in the living room of my own.

Plant decoration on the wood stand besides the TV and trophy cabinet.

The full view of the living room of my home, ready to receive any guess who come to visit.

CNY decoration at wall of living room facing the sliding door in front.

Another decoration on the other side of the living room, with mandarin orange, sticky rice cake, pomegranate(...or some other fruit??) and liquor.

All the snacks and cookies that will be served for anyone who visit. The glasses are ready as well, to be poured with drink and served to our gracious guest.

The kitchen, where mom churn out 6 different cakes and cookies laboriously and dad prepare and cook the feast in reunion dinner. This is the place where every good thing starts...
With everything checked, now we are ready for Chinese New Year!!!! The only thing we need now: visitors!!!!

Family photo. My smile is so fake somewhat...
Happy Chinese New Year Everyone. May everyone enjoy yet another FRUITFUL, PROSPEROUS, JOYFUL year ahead. That's all for now!!! More update soon!!!!
