Coming up from the lower ground floor...
Wide, brightly lit interior and pre-CNY shopping crowd...the middle guy with red sweater and cap is my elder bro...he bring me and my younger bro here after some amount of pestering lolx
.More outlets coming up in tHe Spring!!!
New outlet waiting to add more fashion, lifestyle, and experience into tHe Spring.
Even the dustbin look nicer then the ordinary one. (LOL this is what happen when you have new digital camera and time)
Result of my younger bro's skillful photoshooting. lolx
Toilet break. Uno momento por favor, chotto matte kudasai~~~
Result of my younger bro's skillful photoshooting. lolx
Now lets have a look on the tenants in tHe Spring. Currently there are two anchor tenant in tHe Spring, namely Ta Kiong Supermarket (I know it sounds like a mom and pop minimart but trust me it offers more...) and Parkson Department Store. (personally I hope Jusco will come but Parkson is not too bad either. Most of the tenants here are clothing but there are plenty of food outlets and others as well. And the following picture will show some of them.

Parkson Department Store in tHe Spring is the flagship Parkson in Kuching and waaaay better than the current Riverside one.
Despite the name, this Sibu-originated retailer specialized in imported foodstuff and wine and others. High-end supermarket it is.
Clothing outlet: Many brand had finally made their debut in Kuching and here is some of them. There are more to comes actually like Padini and such that haven't open during my visit.
Levi Strauss. (thats my elder bro...and pelik angle again)
Charles and Keith. (Zahirah, you want new handbag?)
Body Glove. Bigger than the one in Tun Jugah obviously.
F.O.S (Factory Outlet Store)
Sushi King. 2nd one in Kuching btw. (The first one is in Boulevard) I dined here during the first day of CNY when I went out with Owen, YangLip, SanHui and YeeShien for visiting+ movie.
All hail for the food!!!! The arrival of a few newcomers will top up the standard of the local gourmet market. In fact, it had been well received by the patron here and packed with customer most of the time.
Chicken Rice Shop. First in Kuching!!!!
Kenny Roger's Roasters. After struggling (and bankrupted) in Kuching a few years back, now they are ready to make a comeback in Kuching with two outlet at Boulevard and tHe Spring. This pic of course is from tHe Spring and so far the reception has been quite good.
Manhattan Fish Market. There are two in Kuching, one is here in tHe Spring while another one is at Boulevard. (Again? After all, these two are the latest new addition of mall available.)
Secret Recipe. Taken from the outside and this is the @nd one in Kuching after the one opposite of Upwell.
Kluang Station. 1st one in Kuching and not a real railway station lolx.

The centrepiece decoration of tHe Spring- this 3 storeys water feature. Those plate actually can moves!!! This one is taken from the lower ground...(do you see the black dots? it is actually coin. Many people apparently think the water feature is a wishing well thing and throw coins in it. IT ISN'T PEOPLE!!!)
...this is one from the ground/1st floor...
...and this one is from the 2nd floor/top floor. Notice the nice ceiling decoration?
Another view of the ceiling lamp and decoration. Nicely done. Looks kinda gloomy cos wrong camera mode.
This floral pattern appears prominently throughout the mall, from the logo itself to the shiny marble floor all the way to the lamp on the ceiling.
Front atrium from the inside...
...and front atrium from the outside...
The whole new shopping icon of Kuching.
The anchor tenant of tHe Spring......btw there will be a cinema opening in a few months time and it highly expected that it will be GSC andthe middle space is reserved to GSC Cinema!!! YESSS Better movie experience babeh!!!!!
But of course, tHe Spring aint all about clothes and nice food. It also features the very first MPH Bookstore in Kuching WOOHOO!!!! Good news for all the book readers as it offer more choices in Kuching after being dominated by Popular for quite a while. Wide selection of books and very good ambiance within the outlet itself. This is also the place I bump in to my former classmate in U6S1, Dayang Azyan. She look as dashing and meangurlzz as always lol.
MPH. And this photo was ruined by my younger bro superb phototaking skill.Switch, the appointed seller of Apple product. And also the shop my younger bro ogling at. 'IPod touch!!!' , he says. (and second seller in Kuching after the one in Tun Jugah)
Other than the wide selection of outlets here in tHe Spring, another eye catcher is are definitely the interior decoration and ambiance. The ceiling lamp and flowing clothes on the ceiling adds an elegant touch to the mall. The floral pattern that appear prominently function as their corporate symbol and identity. The water feature is a unique innovation as well. The wideness, the ambiance and the standard presented by tHe Spring definitely give Kuching a whole new shopping experience...
Last but not least though, after much persuasion by my younger brother, my elder brother finally relented and treat both of us at Starbucks!!!! Thanks bros!!!
The famous green, black and white coloured mermaid logo: Starbucks. 2nd one in Kuching after the first at Kuching International Airport.
Starbucks from inside...(wireless available btw as most of the food outlet in the mall)
... and Starbucks from outside. Nice ehh?
My first Starbucks: Chocolate Cream Frappucino. Price tag: RM14.50 or something liddat.
What remains of my frappucino. Finished only right after I reach home.
It did not disappoint me as it represent a whole new shopping experience for all of us in Kuching but I think it can be better...well only after all the outlet in tHe Spring is occupied, that is!!!
Thats all for now, chinese new year eve post coming up next!!!!
*sheesh lousy connection really slow things down*
