International Workers' Day (also known as May Day) is celebrated on May 1 by trade unions and left-wing movements around the world. It's also government mandated public holiday for more than 80 countries around the world including Malaysia, a day of rest for fellow workers and labourers regardless of trade and creed and a day of reflection of the role of the working class in building the foundation of our society.
In conjunction with May Day celebration, let us rise standing to the L'Internationale, the anthem for fellow proletariats of the world! Workers of the world, Unite! (Selected first verse of the lyric in original French, English, Malay, Chinese and Japanese accompanied by instrumental version of L'internationale) L'Internationale is also available in other 90+ languages.
