K-ON is a 4-koma (4 panel) manga depicting the daily life of 4 Japanese highschool girl joining their highschool Light Music Club (note: the title K-ON has the same pronunciation of light music in Japanese, 軽音 Kei-on. Another note: light music in Japan refers to pop music.) to save it from being abolished. It was animated into 13 episode series by the ever talented Kyo-Ani so great, detailed and lively animation quality is definitely expected. And since it is about a group of highschool girls playing music in a pop band, good music and songs is definitely included, making in the anime to watch for fun.
