A few new members of the household.

Prologue: Less than two weeks before heading back to Penang for my convocation...and my Master's Application Approval Letter is still not in sight. *sigh* I have a feeling that I can only start my Master next semester...

A few days ago, a few new faces appeared (literally) and (somewhat) become members of the Liew household.

Last monday (or was it Sunday or Saturday?), these two BITCHES (yeah, both of them are female) appeared out of a blue and decided to hang around the compound of my house and eventually seek shelter under my house's car porch. Initially, these two were apprehensive of us and always maintain a safe distance whenever we tried to approach them. After a few days of luring/feeding them with food however, these two eventually warm up to us and approach us slowly before finally wagging their tails in approval of us. Now whenever we go outside, these two will come to use wagging their tails and thus I think, these two already admitted themselves as the new members of the Liew household.

These two bitches are pretty cure actually and actually have their own characteristic as well even though they have the same colour of fur. This one which is fatter/bigger/more robust has droopy ears and she is the one that warm up to us the most ie. the first one to rush to you when you call out to them, the one will try to lick you the most as well as the one who's willing to let you pet/stroke.

This one which is thinner/slimmer and has pointy ear however still haven't really completely warm up to us as it still don't want us to pet her (she will try to bite you when your hand approached her head) and the first to ran away upon loud noise/abrupt movement of human. But least it will come over when we called them. These two however still require some discipline, sternly administered by my dad with shouting and hitting (if possible) because they tend to shred up our newspaper when the newspaper guy drop it at our home. It was a problem for our previous dog years ago and hopefully they can stop shredding our morning newspaper after some tough love from my dad.

Another (rather reluctantly by my parent and myself too) new member of the household is this little kitten. Not exactly sure which cat gave birth to this kitten but this kitten has been hanging around the backyard for a few days now. While the kitten is quite cute, it can be pretty annoying at times as it will incessantly mewing till no end for no apparent reason and always try to enter the house following me especially when I am sweeping the kitchen. The cute mewing and purring and rubbing leg up till a point will turn into annoyance and my mom always ask us to sent it away to the local kopitiam behind my house. My only worry about that is that it might be killed by the stray dog over there and/or grind under the huge wheel of vehicles that passes through the back alley behind the shop. I think this lil bundle of annoyance will stay around the household for a lil while more and my mom do feed it whenever we had leftover.

Last but not least when we talk about new stuff is this pen. Went to limteh at Stutong's 老李 Kopitiam with the remainder of Kuching gang (as at least half of us went back to KL to continue their studies) I got this stainless steel ballpen from the Most Revered Taukelip. What is so special about this ball pen besides it's made of stainless steel?

Engraved and written on the clip is Taiwan and 台湾! Taukelip has just came back from his graduation trip to Taipei today after buying his ticket during Zero-fare promotion by AirAsia LAST YEAR. Looking forward to all the photos you took over a week in Taipei in Facebook! 台北101,士林夜市,西门町,中正纪念馆, 台啤,台客,台妹!
Epilogue: *sigh* I have nothing much to say for this epilogue. As time flies, the suspense is getting grinding worse on my nerve.
