Today, i had my first quiz of HBT104(Contemporary English Grammar). Dr. Haslina reminds us that HBT104 in general is the easiest module in the BATI course so no one should have any problem with this, especially this very first quiz.
We were given two tutorial sheet cos she cancelled her first tutorial class last week. The first sheet is about Homophones and correct form of words. Second sheet is about Personal and Reflexive pronouns.
First sheet: It was easy, except i can't find the homophones for the word bury. Hmm.....what will it be?
Second sheet: Ok, i screwed up in this cos i am confused whether i should "ourselves" or "ourself", which resulted in using........ourSELF!! Same situation for "themselves" as well!! Only when i marched out of the room, i check with the notes and i got myself a shocker!!! Now i really hope that Dr. Haslina will not remind me about this relatively careless mistake that a novice will make!!!! *pray pray pray*
